Despite the title, and a deal of respect for the great Mr. Bob Dylan, he doesn't actually feature in my musical memories. These three titles are from a time of great change and upheaval in my life.
The first is by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, the clue is in the title "Breakdown"

The second puts into words the wonderful sense of freedom that I felt after I'd made the decision to walk away from a toxic marriage, Lynyrd Skynyrd's "Freebird"

And the third tells its own story, after I met and fell in love with the wonderful GM

"You Make Loving Fun", another track from the Fleetwoood Mac Rumours album - probably the best album ever made.

Once again a good selection, funny how we relate to different songs for different events in our lives. I always feel that once a song is attached to an event it never goes back to just being a song - if that makes sense?? xx
Love reading your blog, hope you will be back next week with photos for my challenge week :)
Good selections of songs there. Thanks for giving me your link, I'll put it in my next post. Suzy x
Great selection joy -especially fleetwood mac which always reminds me of when I lived in Montreal, Canada.
One question? What does GM stand for? I know it's your hubby but can't work out the meaning - good man? Ginger man? Please enlighten me!
great to see your selection of songs
