Tree watch

Regular readers will know that I planted a plum stone at the begining of the year, and monthly updates on its growth can be seen here, here, here, here and here.

As it was growing so rapidly, we decided it was time for it to have a permanent home, and as quite drastic plans are still being negotiated for the revamp of the back garden, we felt it would be happier if it had a permanent home at the front. At the moment it is still quite slender, but we are hoping that if we cut the top half metre or so the side shoots will grow more and it will thicken up for next year.
