Gratitude Day 23

During the very hot and dry summer months of this year some patches of our lawn (read patch of grass) at the back dried out somewhat, but have been reseeded, and now we can see the oft-quoted "green shoots of recovery".

Gratitude Day 22

Once a month I go to Essex to spend a weekend with my mum. She lives in an old fashioned village on the edge of Epping Forest, where there is a village green and a pond (and a Tesco Metro!). It's fairly close to where I was born, and I love that it hasn't changed too much since then.
