Earlier in the year when I did my OU course, I was given (by OU) a copy of Photoshop Elements 8. This is a great deal more sophisticated than the simple editor I've been using so far, and it takes a bit of getting used to. Since the course finished I haven't really had the time to revisit it, but now, as I'm biding time waiting for that all important phone call, I had a play around this afternoon. The top picture is as the camera saw the scene, and the lower one is how it finished up with a few adjustments. I think its an improvement, but I cant remember how I did it, so maybe a few more visits with a pen and pad to write down what I do would be in order.

Oh, and how did you guess blue is my favourite colour?
That's really cool Joy. I like it

I *love* elements, we bought it for me for Christmas last year. I've barely scratched the surface of the manual as yet.
ReplyDeleteoh nifty a manual! I'm so envious. because it was part of the course I just had some video tutorials, and I'm much better at learning from books where I can follow each simple step at my own pace. I'll see if I can buy one on line - then there'll be no stopping me.
