. . . Snowdon, in fact, as part of TeamHonk, to raise money for Red Nose Day. You can read about Kat's climb here and Hannah's climb here. Very well done both of you and the rest of TeamHonk. So far the team has raised £5,000, but with your help they could raise more. Please visit each girl's blog where you will find links to their fundraising pages.
Back on terra firma a couple of things have happened this week, and both on the same day - yesterday.
Our new dining room floor was fitted
and the first of my raised beds is finished and ready to grow.
Dear Joy
ReplyDeleteExcellent progress on both projects! Here's to some nice weather to get the gardening really underway.
Best wishes
Ellie
Thanks Joy! Very kind of you :) hope you grow some good veg this year yum!x
ReplyDeleteWell done to both of them. That's marvellous :)
ReplyDeleteLove your new floor. It looks very expensive but you can't beat wood floors.
You must have taken advantage of the lovely weather yesterday to do the raised bed? Having a bit of sun yesterday was fantastic!
We had great plans for all sorts of things in the garden last year but the horrible weather meant they didn't all happen. However, John did put in 2 raised beds and we did quite well last year with carrots and beetroot in particular. Here's hoping we actually DO get a summer this year :)
Great accomplishments - all around.
