171/365 Devon trip

Had a really lovely restful and stress-free trip to Devon at the weekend. The main purpose of the trip was to help Rog's brother-in-law to celebrate his 80th birthday, but beside that we visited Ray, an old school friend of Rog's, on friday evening. Ray and his wife Margaret have recently moved to a lovely bungalow on the edge of Dartmoor, overlooking Brentor, and this is the view from their sun lounge.

Today I have spent all day unpacking, washing, tidying and uploading and editing 136 photos, tomorrow I shall show some of them, but this is my favourite. On our way back home on Sunday morning we wandered across Dartmoor rather than fly up the A38 from Plymouth to Exeter and having never been to Widecombe on the Moor I asked if we could go there. It just so happened there were some Morris dancers performing in the village, this was the youngest member of the group. I didn't see him dancing but he was definitely watching with intent.

See you tomorrow.

I've always fancied giving morris dancing a try. I'm sure it's an excellent way to exercise.
