Some time ago while I was out for a walk, I spotted a little opening in the base of an old oak tree.
There seemed to be a well worn path leading into it, so my curiosity was aroused, and for the next few days each time I passed I had a quick look to see if anything was visible. Imagine my surprise when one day I spotted something just outside the opening.
And then, in successive days, there were more
I know what these are. Do you? I spoke very gently to who or whatever was inside the opening.
"Hello, I come in peace, as a friend".
The very next day, as I arrived, I caught just the briefest glimpse of something white inside the opening.
"Please don't be shy. I'll pop back tomorrow". And so I did
This time she came out to see me, I sat very still and let her come further out, she was quite timid to start with, but soon we were having quite a conversation.
Yes, the little coloured beads were actually unicorn droppings, and my new friend is a unicorn. Come back tomorrow and I'll tell you a story about a little walk that we had together.
