317. Another misty morning, this gloom enveloped us for most of the week.

318. But we did have the added "excitement" of the arrival at our end of the road of the gas workers who are installing a new gas mains pipe.

The Green, Devizes

Triangular in shape, the Green sits at the eastern edge of the town, and is a lovely and well-used open space area. Not shown in the photos is a new and extremely colourful children's playground. Several times a year the Green hosts a fairground, and in the Autumn the carnival procession gathers here.

I have been participating in Hookin' with Laalaa's blanket square swap, and knowing I was short of time, I got on and did my contributions in double quick time, the last three are going in the post today. I know my name is at the bottom of the list as I was the last to join, but hopefully I'll receive a few more soon, then I'll show.
