Gratitude Day 147

It was lovely to be in time to watch GS2 play football. He's an attacker, and although he didn't score he was involved in 3 assists.

Next to the pitch was this totem pole, carved from a single trunk

Gratitude day 146

I love my sewing machine

Gratitude Days 142 and 143

Day 142   I've not been too well for the last few days, so GM treated me to some "anti-sad" (his words).

Day 143   At last, the end to watering the garden for this year.

Gratitude day 141

The Holm Oak, which I've grown from an acorn given to me back in March. It's stopped growing for now, and as it's an evergreen I'm not expecting much change for the next few months.

Gratitude day 140

Being married for 32 years to a Plymothian, who was raised on Cornish pasties, means I have my own take on his favourite foodstuff. Homemade cronish (no that's not an error) pasty pie.

Gratitude days 135-139

Day 135    This little ship in a bottle has been sitting on the shelf in my studio for ages, I can't even remember where it came from, I think it must have been one of the boys' which got left behind when they moved out.

Day 136    My Peace Lily has a couple of flowers. Please excuse the rather odd angle of the shot, the flowers are quite obscure and difficult to see from a normal sitting position.

Day 137     After a day of feeling poorly I really wanted to get outside and spend some time in the garden, but my body was shrieking at me to "just sit down", so this is what I did instead.

Day 138    My old peg bag was well overdue for retirement, so rummaging through an assortment of bags that I had in my studio, this one popped up and said "me, me, me". Meet my new peg bag.

Day 139   I love this little sign, made for me many years ago by GT, which lives next to the medicine cabinet in the cloakroom.

Gratitude days 131-134

Day 131   The full moon was quite fantastic, my camera can't do it justice

Day 132  A beautiful sky

Day 133   Just by the side of the road, when I stopped for a water break

Day 134 The lovely Tracy from Mad about bags made me this several years ago

Gratitude days 123-126

Day 123  PJ took me back to his flat, look at this magnificent view from his lounge window

Day 124  The camera wasn't able to pick up my train, but it is coming, off in the distance

Day 125  A few days ago GM lost his keys. I found them for him . . .

Day 126  . . . and along with the card was . . .
