WEEK 17, more Spring LOVE in the yarden

The front border was starting to look a bit untidy, so remedial action was put in hand

I went to visit Eileen, and she gave me some more pots, doncha just LOVE a freebie

I've also been buying new plants and seeds that I LOVE

I started a new jigsaw puzzle. However, having made a good start I realized that I didn't LOVE it enough to want to carry on with it, this is as far as I got before putting it back in the box and returning it to the charity shop.

GM was away for a couple of days, so I had to cook my own breakfast - I LOVE scrambled eggs on toast,

Solo tea, and my greatest LOVE - jacket potato

Our gorgeous GD7 picked a daisy for Grandfer, which he LOVED. Sadly it got slightly squashed in my pocket on the way home.

I hope you have had a LOVELY week

April Scavenger Hunt, Leaves

Eileen, over at A Bracelet of Days, has returned to blogging after a break, and has reinstated her monthly Scavenger Hunt. April's subject was Leaf/Leaves, here is my selection.

On my jacket

Dried leaves on my bedroom windowsill

A dried leaf which was a gift from GD5 some years ago

This is Monty, who lives half way up the stairs

A drinks coaster leaf, made by a friend many years ago

An orchid, another more recent gift, which isn't looking too great at the moment!

A geranium leaf, fallen from one of my many geraniums waiting for it to warm up enough to go outside again.

New leaves on my avocado tree

Those are all my indoor leaves, now we venture outside, and the first one is my fig tree

 Strawberry

 Honeysuckle

 Clematis

 Aquilegia

 Hollyhock, and crocosmia

 Virginia creeper, photobombed by buddleia

 Wisteria

 Crocosmia Lucifer

Thank you Eileen, I'm looking forward to next month's challenge.

Week 16 LOVING my Yarden

After a slightly busier than usual few days, I LOVE nothing more than just enjoying myself at home and in my yarden.

I LOVE that my pen-friend has sent me some sunflower seeds, and we're comparing notes and progress. We both sowed our seeds on easter sunday, mine are in pot 13.

Other things in the yarden are coming along well. This year I'm determined to protect my figs from whoever or whatever nicked them last year.

And I LOVED spotting and snapping a relatively newish moon

Wishing you a LOVE-filled week.

Week 15, more LOVE

I LOVE a colourful sunset almost as much as I LOVE a full moon - this week we've enjoyed both

I was given some LOVELY flowers a while back, this is the only survivor, I LOVE how it's so attractive even dried

As you are already aware, I LOVE having a jigsaw on the go, this is my current one

I also LOVE figs, last year I lost several, so this year I intend to take protective measures, which I'll show you next week

One of my clematis is about to burst into a LOVELY show of flowers, another one for next week

Another of my passions is photography, and while I'm umming and ahing about whether or not to spend money having my old one repaired, I have been gifted a new one for my upcoming birthday. I'm sure I'll grow to LOVE it

Being a Plymothian, the primary LOVE of my life is a big fan of Cornish Pasties. Over the years I've made him many pasty pies, this one is my latest, and was very tasty.

How has your week been? LOVE-filled, I hope.
