Week 30, So many LOVELY things

LOVELY flowers in the yarden

I absolutely LOVE figs, this is the first from our tree since we moved here. It was delicious.

My LOVELY car, Natalya, has passed her MOT for another year. She's 11 years old now, and still a LOVELY car.

Lots of LOVELY bugs and pollenators in the Yarden.

It's the school holidays now, and I expect to have lots of LOVE, fun and laughter with some of my very favourite people.

The Lionesses put on a wonderful show, and fully deserved their tournament win. I have just LOVED watching them play.

I hope these photos show how LOVELY my week was. Are you sharing the LOVE?

Week 29, I LOVE summer

I do LOVE summer, I LOVE being outside as often as possible, I LOVE the colours in my yarden, and I even LOVE the unpredictable weather, which has been a real mixed bag this week.

GD5 LOVES her tractor, even though at 8 years old she really is too big for it now!

I have LOVED looking through old photos recently, here are a couple, first with my mum in about 1969, second with my gran in about 1957/8, I'm the one on the right in both pictures

I also LOVE doing jigsaw puzzles, although I don't do so many during the summer months, I usually try to buy them without sky, as I definitely don't wish to waste precious moments of my life doing difficult skies, so as far as I'm concerned, this one is finished.

I LOVE that I'm mentioned in an edition of a gardening magazine

And finally for this week, I LOVE hollyhocks.

How has your week been? Are you helping to shift the global culture to one of LOVE?

Week 28, LOVE is the answer . . .

. . . to everything.

Are you spreading LOVE? Are you helping to shift the global culture to one of LOVE? It's very simple, just ooze LOVE whenever you can, preferably all the time, but if you can't manage that try as often as is possible.

I had a LOVELY friend come down from Yorkshire to the Wildshire to stay over the weekend. I took her to my BELOVED Bowood, and even though it was a wet day we had a LOVELY time.

My LOVELY Yarden has been gifting, both colour and produce

The recent hot spell was a bit difficult to cope with, and in order not to wear myself out, I rested,  a lot, which my body was grateful for. I'm feeling much more comfortable now that the temperatures are back down to about normal for July. It would be LOVELY if we could have just a little bit more rain though.

Have you had a LOVELY week? Are you spreading the LOVE?

Week 27, a trip to visit LOVED ones

Better late than never!

I've been on a trip to Kent, to a LOVELY area in this LOVELY county, to visit one of my sons and his LOVELY family.

Here's just a sample of things that made my heart sing.

The final picture was taken from their front gate, don't they have a LOVELY view?

How has your week been? LOVE-filled, I hope.
