Fellow blogger and personal friend Eileen runs the Monthly Photo Challenge, and this month's subject was Drinks.
My month was pretty busy, but I did remember to take enough photos to make the challenge worthwhile, although all of them by phone rather than the "proper" camera.
Can anything be better than tea from a pot while still in bed? I think not.
I don't normally drink white wine, but when GM offered me a celebratory glass on his birthday, well, I couldn't say no, could I?
Red wine is my usual tipple, but I don't turn my nose up at the odd glass of port now and then
GM and I can often be found in Wetherspoons on a Monday, when the beer is only £2.00 per pint. Their Abbot Ale is quite something, although GM prefers a strong lager.
A cup of tea is always worth sitting down for, don't you think?
I did also enjoy a glass or two of red wine during the month
And when GT offered to take us out to celebrate both GM's recent birthday and Mother's Day, well that was another invitation to accept - so it was back to Wetherspoons.
