Week 52, which concludes a year of LOVE

 

The past week included the Festive Season, and although I have a large family and we try to have a whole family get-together at least once a year, I made it quite clear many years ago that no-one has to add to their busy lives by trying to do too much with regards to the Festive Season, I would far rather see them when they are not busy and not overwhelmed. I LOVE that they've all taken my words to heart. I LOVE them all, without exception, they all know that, and I'll make it round to see each and every one of them over the coming months.

My 2nd son, the Dark One, who is father to these three LOVELIES 

has his birthday today, Happy Birthday to my dear Dark One x x x

I LOVED spending 25th December quietly at home with the man I LOVE

 and we enjoyed a LOVELY meal

 followed by home-made mince pie topped with Baileys flavoured squirty cream.

 

Other things I have LOVED over the past week - 

I'm a numbers freak so this pleases me

I LOVE Baileys, and treat myself to a bottle eact year, this is the final glass from 2025's bottle

From my library window I can see the nesting box on the side of the garage, and I LOVE that I have spotted a pair of bluetits checking it out, not once, not twice, but three times now!

 

I'm not a huge coffee drinker, but every now and then I LOVE a mug for a pleasant change, and with a topping of Baileys flavoured squirty cream, what could be better on a cold winter's day?

 

I LOVE to try new things, and having reached 77++ I decided to try pomegranate for the first time, I didn't dislike the taste, but for the amount of preparation required, sadly I did not LOVE it enough to be bothered to repeat the experience.

 

I discovered Woodoku a couple of years ago, and I LOVE it, I think I have completed 362 of the daily version.

 

And this post brings an end to a year of spreading LOVE. Thank you to everyone who has read my blog over the course of 2025, I wish you all lots of LOVE for 2026. I'll continue blogging but the format will change to more random less rigid posting. HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ONE AND ALL and please continue to shower LOVE on everyone.
