Not a lot is happening currently in the Wildshire, except for the weather - which continues to be mostly boringly wet.
I had a slight "adventure" earlier in the week which you can read about here.
While sorting through my herbs and spices, I found this.
Does anyone have anything older than this in their food stocks?
I'm now actually buying new jars of herbs and spices just so I can continue with my fixation on herbwords.
Having just celebrated being here at 43 for five years, I'm really appreciating the architectural history of the town. This is the Tabernacle entrance, other parts of this building have been sympathetically developed into homes, but this main entrance has remained untouched.
Yesterday I met up with my friend Jean in Devizes, we enjoyed a cuppa and a natter in the Bear Hotel
GDs 5 & 7 are really more like sisters than cousins, and both have asked if they can do a sleepover at nanny's house together, which meant I needed to acquire an extra bed, or somesuch. Not having a great deal of spare space I found this, which opens out as a sort of mattress, so once I've picked up some extra bedding to go on it, invitations can be issued. Watch this space.
How has your week been?
