Jean, of Talking Beads started as a virtual friend, but as we live in the same town and both like pubs we soon became real friends. She makes beautiful things with beads, please have a look at her shop.
Karen is another virtual friend, she only lives about 30 miles away, so I expect we'll meet up at some stage, hopefully in 2011. Karen works in resin, and her shop is Just K Jewellery and Gifts
Carol is another knitter, she lives in the beautiful Weald of Kent, and knits some amazing babywear, which she sells in her shop Crafty People
If you like individual and personalised cards you really must visit Chrissy's shop Chrissy's for cards, her work is amazing and unique
Sharon makes beautiful Jewellery, her shop is SP Jewellery, please take a look.
The above are people I have known for a while, but since being on Folksy I have made a few new friends as well. All three of the following ladies have been kind enough to include me in their blogs, so now I am returning the favour.
Gemma, at Damselfly Gemma is another jeweller, I particularly love her filigree work, which you can see in her shop.
Linda at Uniquely Yours is a lady of many talents, as you will see when you visit her shop
And finally Katy at Rags to Roses makes the most amazing selection of hair accessories and other lovely items.
