209/365 Snow

Yesterday when I woke up it was snowing, not much, but at least a little bit. As the forecasters were telling us we would have snow on and off all day I decided to document the amount of snow we had over the course of the daylight hours. As you can see from the "before" (top, taken at 11.15) and "after" (bottom, taken at 15.15) the forecasters were wrong.

It's possibly been a bit difficult for the forecasters. My brother phoned me yesterday mid-day as he couldn't get through to our Mum on the phone. He was worried about how she was coping with the snow.
'What snow' I said!

He lives in Romford, Essex and had 6 inches of snow. I am only 22 miles away from him and Mum is close to me as well ..... we had had barely 1cm first thing in the morning and by mid day it had all gone in any case!

Odd!

Hi Joy...I've just updated my blog with snowy photographs of our beach. Even though we're very far north snow very seldom lies on the beach or lower town....we've had quite enough of it!!
