Yesterday the waist clip burst on the trousers I was wearing. First instinct was to go online to buy some new ones. But as Rog is looking to retire within the next couple of years we are going to have to cut down on spending (we are actually already trying to alter our spending habits), so instead I have decided that, as I have lots of really nice trousers in my wardrobe which appear to have shrunk over the last couple of years, the best thing would be for me to shrink too.
Today is the first day of a new diet and fitness regime.
I am currently 73 kilos, which, while not grossly overweight, is far more than the 60 kilos I weighed 10 years ago. I am aiming to get back to 60 kilos over the next 13 weeks, at a rate of 1 kilo per week. I'm also going to donate £2.00 per kilo lost to the WAAA, if anyone else would like to sponsor me for as much as you like, any sponsor money will also go directly to WAAA.
I'll be posting my weight each week on a wednesday (an extra day for the first week!)
