155/365 Breadmaking

I love breadmaking, and I love the smell and taste of homemade bread. I dont use a breadmaker, but do it the good old fashioned way with the help of a food mixer and a couple of dough hooks.
Ingredients ready.

All in the bowl waiting for the water.

After 10 minutes of mechanical kneading.

In a warm place to rise for 40 minutes.

Out of the oven.

After this it all went pear-shaped, sadly. I should have left it in the oven for about another 5 to 10 minutes, as it was still soft in the middle, and when I tried to tip it out part of it stuck to the tin and part of it came out, leaving a loaf in several crumbly pieces. Not to worry though, I put the pieces back in the oven for 10 minutes to dry out, and now we have lovely tasty wholemeal bread chunks in the breadbin.

I love homemade bread too, although I'm rather lazy and do use a breadmaker ...... and, I'm ashamed to admit it, bread mixes ....

Pleased the bread turned out for you in the end!
I'm very lucky that i'm married to a man who loves to cook and bake! We often have a homemade loaf and lovely soup to go with it. Today we have stone-baked Pizza for tea (-;
